So, I'm now in my second week of college. I know the way there and so far things are going all right.

Okay, fuck that. I'm worried out of my mind! Two of my teachers have barely-understandable accents so I'm not sure if I'll be able to pass their classes. I still have the social skills of a paranoid rabbit (barely), so the odds of me making new friends are slim to none. My Public Speaking homework (THE DAMNED CLASS IS REQUIRED!) is driving me up the wall. I need 25 questions for a survey that I may or may not need to hand out to everybody in the class. I thought about making them anime-oriented, but really, how many people there are going to know enough about anime to give me enough material to make a speech out of it? I flipped through the Sociology book, and most of it I recognize from high school, which should make it easier, right? Wrong! It means that I can't focus on it long enough to do my homework because I've read it all before!

Phew! Alright, I feel a lot better now that I've got that out of my system. Now might be a good time to point out some GOOD points about college life. I'm still living at home, so I don't have to worry about insane roommates. The school has a really nice lounge in one of the buildings that can be used for a study area, a lunch room, or a place for leisure activity. I think I have made one friend, sort of. She's in two of my classes, and she seems to like anime, but I can't remember her name and I'm worried that I'll wind of scaring her off.
